[thoughtful] Shri Krishna says to Arjun—Wise people perform their duties with complete honesty, but they do not bind themselves to the results. They do not constantly think about what they will receive, how much appreciation they will get, or how much they will personally benefit. Because of this, they gradually become free from both the pride of success and the sorrow of failure. When every action is performed only for reward, fame, or personal gain, the mind remains restless. When we receive the result, we fear losing it; when we do not receive it, we become disappointed. But when we work for the right purpose, we experience peace from within. Consider the life of Florence Nightingale. During the Crimean War, thousands of wounded soldiers were lying in dirty and unsafe hospitals. She served them day and night, improved hospital cleanliness, and transformed the system of medical care. Her purpose was not to become famous but to save lives. Her work later laid the foundation of modern nursing and changed hospital systems across the world. [emphatic] When an action is performed not for personal gain but for the right purpose, its reward is not merely success—it also brings deep inner peace. #BhagavadGita #GitaShlok #Shlok2.51 #GitaInHindi #Truth #Reality #Wisdom #KarmaYoga #Krishna #Mahakavya BIMAL BANGAR
