[2.52] [thoughtful] Shri Krishna says to Arjun—When your intelligence rises above this confusion and mental fog, you will no longer be influenced by things you have already heard or by attractive claims you may hear in the future. Your thinking will become clear, and you will be able to understand for yourself what is right. When the mind is confused, everyone’s words can appear convincing. Some people frighten us, some tempt us with rewards, and others present their own opinions as the final truth. But after gaining the right knowledge, we do not blindly believe everything. We think, examine the facts, and then make our decision. We can understand this through the work of scientist Louis Pasteur. During his time, many people believed that diseases appeared on their own. Pasteur conducted experiments and showed that many diseases were caused by microorganisms. He did not blindly accept old beliefs. He searched for evidence and presented the truth through clear reasoning. His discoveries completely transformed our understanding of medicine and hygiene. [emphatic] When confusion disappears, we stop following hearsay. Clear thinking gives us the strength to recognise the truth and make our own right decisions. #BhagavadGita #BhagavadGitaChapter2 #GitaShlok #Shlok2.52 #Krishna #LordKrishna #Arjuna #KrishnaArjuna #GitaWisdom #gitaquotes Bimal Bangar
