2 .48 English -Maintain Balance in Both Success and Failure | Bhagavad Gita Shlok 2.48 in English
Shlok 2.48 [thoughtful] Shri Krishna says to Arjun—Perform your duty with complete honesty, without becoming trapped in anxiety about success. Whether your work succeeds or fails, maintain your mental balance. This inner balance is true Yoga. This does not mean that we should not feel happy after success or sad after failure. Emotions are natural. But success should not make us arrogant, and failure should not break us so completely that we stop trying. Thomas Edison had one clear goal—to make the electric bulb practical and accessible to ordinary people. He faced failure again and again while working on it. Sometimes the filament burned out quickly, sometimes the bulb lasted only a short time, and sometimes the material was unsuitable. But Edison did not consider every unsuccessful experiment a defeat. He learned from it, changed his method, and tried again. Eventually, his continuous efforts helped produce an electric bulb that could be used for long periods. #BhagavadGita #GitaShlok #Shlok2.48 #GitaInEnglish #SuccessAndFailure #Balance #KarmaYoga #MentalStrength #Krishna #Mahakavya BIMAL BANGAR
